We manufacture AT-Cut crystals in the frequency range of 1-200 MHz.

Production takes place in a clean-room environment under strict quality conditions (ISO 9002 Quality Standard). In order to achieve high stability over time and temperature, our crystals are subjected to chemical and UV-Ozone cleaning and are vacuum-baked at a high temperature prior to being hermetically sealed in an atmosphere of high-purity, dry nitrogen gas using the Resistance Weld process.

Low spurious modes, low phase noise and activity dips, and high resistance to shock and vibration are standard characteristics of our crystals.

Our environmental chamber can test crystals over their entire operating temperature range, from as low as -55C to as high of 150C. Printouts and plots for each individual crystal are provided on request.

Since October, 2005, West Crystal has had the capability of producing crystals that comply with the European Union's RoHS directives. All our parts have a RoHS compliant option.

HC48/U, HC49/U (various heights), HC50/U (various heights), HC51/U, UM-1, UM-4 and UM-5 are the standard crystal packages that we offer.

Turn around times are normally 2 ½ to 3 wks ARO. We also offer 6 day premium service on most items.

In cases where large quantities are required and lead times are secondary to pricing, we use the services of our offshore affiliates.
